This event included the screening of an award winning video about Carvings for a Cause produced by students at the
Canisius College Video Institute, live actors portraying some of the statue subjects, tasting stations from local restaurants,
silent and chinese auctions and live music.
Carvings for a Cause is a non-profit organization founded to turn trees lost in a surprise October snow storm into
larger than life carved statues of significant local figures or symbols from the Western New York region.
